Anadarko’s RedHawk Decommission
The Redhawk Decommission video was quite a challenge as we needed to tell a compelling story of an oil platform, located in the Gulf of Mexico, and its transformation into an artificial reef. A rough script and story board was created and we identified where interviews and 3D animation could help tell the story. The project took a total of 2 weeks to film. After the decommission, voice over was recorded. A studio set was created for two additional interviews to drive the main story. We designed a two camera setup and put the second camera on a slider to give the interviews more movement and interest. Lastly, music and sound design was a big emphasis on the final cut. Music was carefully selected to help build drama. Being shot out in the ocean, there was treatment done on the interview audio. Ambient audio was mixed to enhance the story telling.
